River MaKenzi x MADE MOBB

River MaKenzi is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist and organizer. Through abstraction, she channels her internal landscape, translating raw emotions and fleeting moments into vivid visual stories. Her paintings serve as both personal catharsis and an open invitation for others to find their own escape within the layers of color and texture. Each piece becomes a place to pause, breathe, and reflect, offering space for the viewer to explore their own inner world.

For Black History Month, we wanted to work with River because her work embodies intention, vulnerability, and resilience. Values that align deeply with how we move at MADE MOBB. This collaboration is about honoring Black creativity not just as history, but as a living, evolving force. One rooted in expression, process, and the courage to tell your story on your own terms.

Grace & Grit represents what carried her through trials and tribulations and continues to push her toward freedom and purpose. It honors those who came before her, creates space for those still to come, and is dedicated to her brother, Jordan Blake Harrison.
