Celebrate Jazz Legacy.

Kansas City sits at the heart of jazz history, and for Jazz Appreciation Month and International Jazz Day, we’re giving flowers to two legends who shaped the sound of the city and beyond. Mary Lou Williams, “The Lady Who Swings the Band,” broke barriers and carried the culture forward, while Jay McShann helped define the Kansas City swing sound that echoed coast to coast.

Two stories. Two icons. One city.

In collaboration with Eddie Moore and Re/Gen, with designs by FK Menace, this series honors the legacy, the sound, and the people who built it.

Proceeds will be donated back to the families to support and preserve jazz culture.
